A. Glossary

In these terms, unless the context otherwise requires, the following definitions apply:

  1. Bequeathed means all or any of our website within the URL *.bequeathed.org, and all information, guidance and documents we publish on that website in the form and manner we determine from time to time.

  2. we, us or our refers to Bequeathed Limited

  3. you or your refers to the individual acting in his or her personal capacity using Bequeathed.

B. These Terms

  1. It is important that you read these terms.

  2. You should check this page from time to time because your use of Bequeathed is subject to these terms (as amended from time to time).

  3. If you do not agree to the amended terms you should not use Bequeathed.

C. Bequeathed

  1. Permission to use

    1. For so long as we operate Bequeathed, you have our permission to use Bequeathed for your domestic and private use only.

    2. Bequeathed is protected by copyright; you do not have permission to use Bequeathed for any service you provide to a third party.

    3. The Bequeathed name, the Will For Good concept and associated logos are our trademarks.

  2. You agree not to use Bequeathed to:

    1. impersonate any person or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent yourself, or your relationship with any person or organisation;

    2. use or attempt to use the account of any other user without the consent of that user or our prior written authorisation;

    3. upload, publish or display any personal or confidential information of any person or organisation without their prior consent;

    4. upload, share or otherwise make available any material that contains viruses or malware;

    5. upload, share or otherwise make available any material which may be defamatory, illegal, discriminatory in any way, of a sexual nature or otherwise offensive or harmful to other users of Bequeathed or others;

    6. upload, share or otherwise make available any material which is deliberately misleading or fraudulent; or

    7. intimidate or harass any person or organisation.

  3. We reserve the right to remove from Bequeathed any material that we consider to be in breach of clause C2.

  4. We use cookies on Bequeathed. For further information on how we use cookies, view our Cookies Policy.

D. Technical issues

  1. We do not offer any assurance that Bequeathed will be compatible with your computer.

  2. On occasion Bequeathed may not be available and your access to Bequeathed may from time to time be interrupted or contain errors, and we will not be liable to you in those circumstances.

E. Our content

Unless and until you register with us, the content on Bequeathed is provided for general information only, and is not intended as advice on which you should rely.

F. Your Content

  1. You grant us a non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty free licence to use, act upon, store and comply with all information and instructions that you upload or otherwise provide to us in connection with your use of Bequeathed (Your Content).

  2. You confirm and warrant to us that you have the right to provide Your Content.

  3. So that we can give you a wide variety of resources, Bequeathed may include hyperlinks to websites operated by other parties. Although they may be of use, we have not examined or evaluated them and we are not able to confirm or check their content. We have no control over the content of external Internet sites that link to Bequeathed or which are linked from it.

  4. We do not accept liability for any content posted to Bequeathed by visitors.

G. General

  1. If any provision contained in these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the terms shall not be affected.

  2. We run Bequeathed from the United Kingdom and these terms, and your use of Bequeathed are governed by the laws of England.

  3. You consent to all disputes relating to Bequeathed being decided only by the courts of England and Wales. We are not in a position to check that Bequeathed complies with laws from outside England and Wales.

  4. You are not permitted to assign your rights under these terms and conditions. Except as expressly provided by these terms and conditions, no third party may enforce these terms and conditions by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
