Professional Fundraising
Bequeathed is a Professional Fundraiser. It is registered with the Fundraising Regulator.
Subject to our Terms, Conditions and Policies, consumers may use Bequeathed to make a Will For Good whether or not they choose to pledge a gift in their will or make an online donation to charity.
Our charity customers pay a fixed annual fee to Bequeathed relating to the promotion and operation of this service so that users pay no fee for this online will-writing service.
Gifts in Wills
The full amount of your charitable legacy will be paid to any charity or charities that you may choose to leave a legacy to.
Online donations
Your donation will be made to PayPal Giving Fund UK, a registered charity (No. 1110538), and is subject to PayPal Giving Fund UK’s policies and terms of service for donors.
Donations are subject to payment processing fees of 1.4% +20p per transaction, and PayPal Giving Fund UK makes grants to benefitting charities net of those fees.
The charity you recommend will typically receive the funds within 15-45 days of your original donation, or within 90 days if the charity has not enrolled with PayPal Giving Fund UK.
This doesn’t happen often, but if, after reasonable efforts, PayPal Giving Fund UK cannot deliver donations to the charity you recommend, it will whenever possible seek a new recommendation from you, and if no recommendation is given, will reassign the funds to another charity, which has been vetted by PayPal Giving Fund UK.
