Ideally you should take the online interview for your Will yourself or by a professional on your behalf (such as a Will-writer or a solicitor). However, we understand that you may turn to loved ones for advice and assistance with making your Will.

If someone is assisting you, it is important that the Will is entirely your own. No one else has the right to influence you in any way. Further, if during the process with us at Bequeathed we suspect any other person is exerting any control or undue influence on you we will be unable to proceed with the finalising of your Will.

You have to be happy that your Will shares out your property exactly how you want. Do not sign it until you are sure that it says what you want it to say.

If you have assistance with your Will, there is an increased chance that it could be successfully challenged after your death on the ground of undue influence, especially if the person assisting you benefits under the Will.

That is why, at the end of the interview, you will be asked for the details of the person who has assisted you.

All of the questions in the interview are asked as they would be asked directly to you. So it is very important that you understand each question as you go along.
