A person who is blind, unable to see clearly or unable to read can nevertheless make a valid Will with the right support and assistance.

There will be a question asked within the online interview which has the purpose of establishing whether you have any visual impairment and if so, once the Will has been prepared, an additional clause will be inserted at the end of the Will. This will expressly state that the Will has been read out loud to you, known as the Testator, before it is then signed and witnessed in the standard formalities.

You will also be asked to confirm whether you are receiving any assistance in completing the online interview. This of course is perfectly acceptable provided we are made aware of that, the capacity in which that person is supporting you and the reason/s why.
